Tony Carter's work dates back to 1978. In the rural environment of Suffolk, a tradition has been built up of the production of cheerful and funny teapots. Quality is of the utmost importance and the unique designs make the products sought after all over the world.
Tony Carter has now taken a step backwards, but he is closely involved in the design and production of the teapots, most of which is still designed by himself.
Each teapot is made and painted by hand. It takes almost a week to make a teapot. Because of the manual work, each teapot is unique, because some difference will appear. Every now and then small variations are made.
